7.4.12

If your slate is clean, then you can throw stones

What did his eyes look like? Were they full of tenderness, pain, heartbreak? Any love, any hurt, any sacrifice I have experienced could never compare. How presumptuous of me that I think my sad little life is sometimes a struggle. I am a raindrop, he is the ocean.

And who knew he had such a powerful falsetto.

Of course, I am ever distracted.

I will look back on Good Friday and always wonder deep down why the stranger didn't ask for my number after all of the effort it took for him to strike up a conversation.
(um, hey, remember what's important after all)

Happy Easter <3

  1. I will sound idealistic again but I think that one of the best things one can do in life is heal someone - at least lessen some pain. Not by saying nice words but just being there with the person. No one likes to wake up in the middle of the night and cry his or her heart out :-)
